Below you’ll find a description of the Events & Activity sponsorship opportunities we have for 2025 as well as a form to fill out to get started with your sponsorship.
Dakota Resources facilitates 3-4 learning cohorts annually, designed to empower participants to:
- Learn from guest experts.
- Build meaningful relationships.
- Develop actionable projects for their communities.
Each cohort includes 4-5 virtual sessions on Zoom, supported by between-session work to launch impactful projects. Participants also gain access to a private learning space and hands-on support from Dakota Resources’ expert coaches.
Benefits, including and not limited to:
- Participation Access: Engage directly in the cohort process or observe sessions.
- Brand Promotion: Your logo featured on all printed and digital cohort materials.
- Recognition: Acknowledgment as a key partner in final project reports and harvest documents.
Sponsorships are $5,000 per cohort.
Dakota Resources facilitates 3-4 Thriverr Gatherings annually, designed to bring Thriverrs together in-person to deepen connections and accelerate learning around a single topic. In 2025, our team will host Gatherings focused on Housing, New Business Attraction, and Public Policy. Our Gatherings are held across the state of South Dakota with about 30 economic development leaders and resource providers attending on average.
There are several levels at which you can sponsor our Gatherings.
- Thriverr Gathering Sponsor, All Events; $15,000
- Thriverr Gathering, Community Awards Sponsor; $2,500
- Thriverr Gathering, Social and Dinner Sponsor; $1,500

Sponsorship Options & Pricing
Annual CO.STARTERS Sponsor
As the Annual CO.STARTERS Sponsor, you’ll receive promotion as our partner with logo recognition on all electronic CO.STARTERS promotions and on the CO.STARTERS Thriverr Hub. Annual sponsorship costs $2,500.
The following options can be added on in addition to your Annual CO.STARTERS Sponsorship. In order to sponsor one of these additional pieces, you must first become an Annual CO.STARTERS Sponsor.
Training for Additional Facilitators
Sponsor the training for any additional facilitators, starting at $500 per facilitator.
10-Week CO.STARTERS Program
Sponsor the materials for participants, including all required resources for them to participate in the 10-week CO.STARTERS program.
Sponsorship of $5,000.
CO.STARTERS Bootcamp
Sponsor the materials for participants in a condensed version of the program, focused on rapid learning and application.
Sponsorship of $2,500.
All sponsorships will be delivered to Dakota Resources, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization focused on connecting capital and capacity to empower rural communities.
