Thriverr Learn: Getting Beyond the Same 10 People Cohort

Join Dakota Resources and Executive Director of Growing Small Towns, Rebecca Undem for this interactive and engaging cohort process. Using the Framework for Change, participants in this cohort will learn and apply a new approach to engaging volunteers in their community. Participants will use this process to improve the results related to a specific community project and develop the knowledge necessary to improve any community project requiring volunteers.

At the end of this cohort experience, participants will develop a newly revised and innovative approach to engaging their community and gaining buy-in for a current project/event/committee, using a proven, repeatable process.

Each one-hour virtual session will run from 12:30 – 1:30 pm CT on the dates listed below.  There will be an optional 30-minute session from 1:30 – 2:00 pm CT after each learning session for questions, answers, and deeper understanding.

About our Presenter: Rebecca Undem learned early in her life that people are what matters most. As the author of How Mommy Got Her Groove Back™, inspirational speaker, and community advocate, she’s helped hundreds of companies and leaders improve their people processes. Today, she inspires people to live BIG no matter their zip code through her speaking events and podcast, The Growing Small Towns Show, where she chats with people doing cool things in their communities and challenges us to think differently about the issues facing small towns. In 2019, Rebecca founded a non-profit organization called Growing Small Towns, headquartered in a historic, renovated building on Main Street in her hometown. Rebecca believes that everyone has something positive to contribute, that if you’re not growing, you’re dying, and that anything really is possible. Her biggest champions and daily dose of reality are her 3 kids, Andrew, Carter, and Brynlee, along with her farmer husband, Jeremiah. They both ground her and keep her from taking herself too seriously. Rebecca and her family call Oakes, North Dakota, home, where her roots are the deepest, and her heart belongs.

Thank you to our sponsor for making this cohort possible!
